Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how Java Sports handles return requests, exchanges, and refunds for products purchased through our website.
We aim to be fair, clear, and practical. If something is wrong with your order, contact us as early as possible so we can review the issue and guide the next step.
Return Window
- Return requests should be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- Requests raised after that period may not be eligible for standard return or refund support unless the issue relates to an approved warranty claim or shipping error.
Eligibility for Return or Refund
A return or refund may be approved when:
- you received the wrong product
- the product arrived damaged in transit
- the product delivered is materially different from what you ordered
- the item is unused, in original condition, and returned with tags, packaging, and accessories where applicable
Non-Returnable or Restricted Cases
A refund or return may be declined if:
- the product has been used, played with, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
- the item is returned without original packaging, tags, or essential accessories
- the issue is due to incorrect size selection after visible use
- the claim is based on normal wear and tear
- the damage is caused by misuse, poor storage, water exposure, lack of bat care, or impact damage from play
- the product was sold as final sale, clearance, or otherwise marked non-returnable
Exchange Support
- If an item is unused and eligible, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund where stock is available.
- Exchanges are subject to inspection and product availability.
- If the replacement item has a price difference, the additional amount may be collected or adjusted as applicable.
Return Review Process
To request a return, contact Java Sports with:
- your order number
- the reason for the request
- clear photos or video if the item is damaged, incorrect, or defective on arrival
Once reviewed, we may:
- approve a return pickup
- ask you to ship the item to the instructed address
- offer an exchange
- deny the request if it does not meet policy conditions
Inspection Before Refund
- Returned items are inspected after receipt.
- Approval of a return request does not automatically mean a full refund will be issued before inspection.
- If the returned product is found to be used, incomplete, or inconsistent with the claim raised, the refund may be reduced or declined.
Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected, or after the claim is otherwise approved.
- Bank, card, wallet, or UPI settlement timelines may vary depending on the payment provider.
Shipping Charges
- Original shipping charges are typically non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, transit damage, or a verified fulfillment issue.
- If reverse pickup or return shipping is arranged for a non-fault return, related logistics charges may be deducted where applicable.
Cash on Delivery and Partial Refunds
- For eligible COD orders, refunds may be processed through bank transfer, UPI, or another supported refund method after verification.
- Partial refunds may be issued where only part of the order is returned or where deductions are applicable under this policy.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
- If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us promptly and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
- Keep the packaging, invoice, and all product materials available until the case is reviewed.
Warranty-Linked Issues
- Manufacturing defect claims after use are reviewed separately by Java Sports and may not be treated as standard refund cases.
- If your issue appears to be warranty-related, we may shift the review to the warranty process.
